HOW TO CREATE A WINNING PRESENTATION!

A winning presentation is refined. What does refined mean?
    Concise . . . clear . . . distinctive . . . powerful – therefore action-producing.

You have to wow your audience within their attention span – in a way that impresses but doesn't overwhelm them.

For this you need to achieve "presentation breakthrough" – beginning with your key messages.

Pay a Professional to Design Your Presentation
    • Presentations are more engaging, therefore profitable.
    • Visually alive presentations create greater interest.
    • Pictures, clean writing, and a distinctive look deliver more impact .
    • Higher quality and a distinctive look add to branding effectiveness.
    • Professionals have the perspective, objectivity and experience to deliver a better product.

    Creating the Presentation
Designing a new presentation can be done in three sessions.

Session #1) Through visually-facilitated brainstorming, we generate and assemble relevant messages, images and information. We then sift through these materials as a team to determine the ideal sequence.

Session #2) Next, we design the layout; adding in the graphic and visual elements, heads and subheads. Usually this takes an entire day depending on the volume of the content and number of visual images.

Session #3) Finally, there's an iterative, editing and refining process -- to get it "just right". In a best-practice environment, all decision makers have determined in advance who will serve as editorial resource, so the team isn't second guessing or tripping over itself or raising the bar forever.

    Overall Process
Producing successful events means end-to-end planning through execution, then into implementation. This can include:
    • Providing direction for content and methodology during the event.

    • Presentations & Collateral: In addition to the presentation itself, offer a range of graphic materials for before, during and after the meeting. This sets the tone of the meeting before and the follow-through after, which can be just as important as the content during the meeting.

    • Visual Facilitation / Graphic Recording / Scribing: Documenting content with "real-time capture" on white boards or large sheets of paper.

    • Post-Event Documentation insures follow-through and implementation of your decisions and content. We'll prepare a summary and/or synthesis, or document the entire step-by-step meeting process.

Visual Facilitation ("scribing" or graphic recording)

VizFac supports collaboration that enables faster, better (often game-changing) results. The process of translating what people say into pictures provides greater and more lasting meaning for participants.

It's unique to each session – a kind of 2-way performance art. We capture the essence of what's communicated, so that participants share a common visual reference point.

In a team-enhancing process, ideas come to life through the shared physical environment. The ongoing visual validation of each member's contribution helps a team produce solutions more effectively than any other facilitation technique. The result is breakthrough, buy-in and faster implementation.
